Dan Abrams (born May 20, 1966) is the chief legal correspondent for NBC News and also the host of The Abrams Report on MSNBC.
Prior to joining MSNBC, Abrams was a reporter for Court TV, and he has continued his legal reporting on his current network.
Abrams graduated from Riverdale Country School in 1984, from Duke University, cum laude, with a degree in Political Science, and from Columbia University Law School in 1992.
Abrams has also published articles in the New York Times, USA Today magazine, The American Lawyer, and the Yale Law and Policy Review.
His father is Floyd Abrams, the prominent first-amendment attorney.
From 2003-04, Abrams dated actress Elisabeth Röhm.
