Cynthia Sikes (born January 2, 1954, in Coffeyville, Kansas) is an actress known for playing strong Mother roles. She played Adm. Albert Jethro 'A.J.' Chegwidden's (played by John M. Jackson) love interest in JAG. Her breakthrough role was playing Dr. Annie Cavanero on the critically-acclaimed series St. Elsewhere. She was Miss Kansas 1972 and was a Top 10 finalist and preliminary swimsuit winner at the Miss America pageant. In addition, Miss Sikes appeared on the CBS series Magnum, P.I., which starred Tom Selleck, during the 80s.
She is married to TV producer Bud Yorkin.
It's been confirm that Sikes will be appearing on The Young and the Restless June 19, 2008 as Zara, mother of Sabrina Costelana. Sikes was ask to fill the role of Zara after actress Finola Hughes pulled out of her deal with The Young and the Restless.
