She is most famous for her role as Lizzie Spaulding, the troubled daughter of the long-suffering supercouple, Phillip Spaulding and Beth Raines on Guiding Light, a role she's played since February 2003.
She started her career by doing pageants at six months old and her pageant talent was acting. Hunt has also starred in many commercials, including including a spot for Disney’s 25th anniversary celebration and an anti-drug advertisement with *NSYNC.
Hunt received her first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2005 but lost out to Eden Riegel of All My Children.
In December 2005, Hunt announced that she decided not to renew her contract with Guiding Light after two years with the series. She is scheduled to last air in early 2006.
Hunt can also be seen in the 2005 release, The Derby Stallion. She also had an uncredited role in Problem Child 2 (1991).
