Clint Howard (born April 20, 1959 in Burbank, California) is an American actor and brother of actor and director Ron Howard, and the son of actor Rance Howard. He was sometimes seen on The Andy Griffith Show as Leon, a silent toddler in a cowboy outfit who wandered freely around Mayberry. His first notable acting job was in "The Corbomite Maneuver", a first-season episode of Star Trek when he was still a child; he also appeared in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Past Tense Part II". He later played a Ferengi named Muk in a first season episode of "Star Trek: Enterprise" called "Acquisition" in 2002.
Clint Howard's well-known regular TV series role was on Gentle Ben.
Clint often shows up in minor or supporting roles in his brother's films (according to the Internet Movie Database they are credited together in 17 movies). He has also appeared in each of the Austin Powers movies.
In 1998, Clint Howard took his MTV Lifetime Achievement Award so seriously that they stopped giving out the award (it had previously been a joke).
