Clifton Powell Detailed Biography

Clifton Powell (born August 31, 1947 in Liberia Yonkers, New York) is an American actor. In addition to several films and television programs, he also was a voice actor for the computer game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing Big Smoke. He won several NAACP Awards. Some of Powell's films include the film Next Friday (2000) as well as the films Why Do Fools Fall In Love (1998), Rush Hour(1998), Ray (2004), and Never Die Alone (2004). Because of a strong resemblance, both facially and vocally, Powell is often confused with Charlie Murphy, who, coincidentally, also has a role in San Andreas as pimper Jizzy B.
