Christina Cox became interested in acting when she was in third grade. She wanted to be an Olympic gymnast, but had to settle for a successful acting career instead. While in high school she appeared in a number of stage productions and tried out for and landed her first real work in an episode of the television series, "E.N.G." Christina continued to study acting at the Ryerson Theater School, before starting to work full-time. Christina Cox was most recently been seen opposite Vin Diesel in the Sci Fi Action film, The Chronicles Of Riddick. Cox played the role of 'Eve Logan', a mercenary hired to capture Riddick (Diesel) and deliver him to the planet Crematoria. She recently completed filming the lead role of 'Nora Delaney', a New Orleans Homicide Detective in the Warner Bothers/Viacom television pilot "Nikki & Nora". Christina is well known for her portrayal of 'Kim' in the romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate as well as her Gemini nominated performance as 'Angela Ramirez', the series lead on Rysher's F/X: The Series. She also co-starred opposite Rob Lowe and Teri Hatcher in the USA thriller Jane Doe. In addition to her film and television credits, Christina has appeared in numerous national theatre productions ranging from classical productions of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to Jim Cartwright’s raw and dirty Road. Christina competed in gymnastics, track and field and Tae Kwon Do. She is proficient in boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing and has extensive training in stage combat, period weaponry and firearms.
