Lead guitarist, songwriter and co-founder for the punk rock group Blondie. Co-founded Blondie with Debbie Harry in late 1974. He was the original choice to compose the soundtrack to the film Fade to Black (1980) but the deal was canceled. Daughter Akira. Her godmother is Deborah Harry.
