Christopher Boyd Lemmon (born January 22, 1954) is an American actor and author.
Lemmon was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actress Cynthia Stone and actor Jack Lemmon. Though an accomplished piano player who studied at the California Institute of the Arts, he is best known for his role as Martin "Bru" Brubaker in the TV-Series Thunder in Paradise, also featuring Hulk Hogan, and as Richard Phillips in the two television situation comedies, Duet (1987) and Open House (1989; in the second series, his supporting character became the lead while the first series' leads became supporting players). In 2006, he published A Twist of Lemmon, as a tribute to his father. It was his first book since he began his career as a writer.
Lemmon, who currently lives in Connecticut, is married to actress Gina Raymond. He has three children, Sydney Noel, Chris Jr. and Jonathan.
He has starred in three films with his legendary father Jack Lemmon: Airport '77 in 1977, That's Life! in 1986 and Dad in 1989.
Lemmon is in pre-production to begin shooting Publicity Stunt in his father’s native New England. Directed by Joel Zwick (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), the film is described by its star as a comedy about redemption. Specifically, the story of a man who wakes up one day and realizes he should start appreciating his rich family life rather than obsessing about his career.
