On Broadway, Gunton played the lead in SWEENEY TODD, which got a Tony nomination, and has starred in such productions as EVITA and KING OF HEARTS. On television, he has been seen in such shows as Ally McBeal and Outer Limits, and was a series regular on Courthouse.
