Bill Romanowski was born to be an Oakland Raider. The 16 year veteran linebacker from Boston College was drafted in the 3rd round of the NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers in 1988. Bill Romanowski's ferocious play throughout his career have branded him as one of the toughest competitors to ever play the position. Bill Romanowski's intensity on the field, the passion and determination he provides to the teams he has played for are characteristics that Al Davis respected and appreciated in Romanowski when he signed him as a free agent in 2002. In 1988, Bill Romanowski's rookie campaign, he played in all 16 games and started eight of them. Bill Romanowski contributed to the 49er Super Bowl run, had an interception during the big game, which ended with his first of four Super Bowl titles. The two time pro-bowl linebacker played six seasons in San Francisco before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1994. In 1996, Bill Romanowski signed with the Denver Broncos, where he amassed his finest statistics and attained his first pro-bowl appearance.
