Ben Foster Detailed Biography
Ben Foster can currently be seen co-starring on HBO's award winning series “Six Feet Under”, as Lauren Ambrose's love interest “Russell.” He recently received a 2003 Daytime Emmy Award for his dramatic portrayal of “Trevor Adams,” in Showtime's Original film Bang Bang You're Dead. Foster's character is a dysfunctional student who, after being torment relentlessly for years by his classmates, finds himself on the verge of perpetrating a crime similar to those committed at Columbine High School in 1999.
Foster will also be seen this year in the film 11:14 for director Greg Marcks, which he stars in opposite Hillary Swank, Colin Hanks and Rachel Leigh Cook. The film is centered around five separate, intertwining incidences, which all occurred at 11:14 PM.
Foster's big break came when director Barry Levinson chose him to star as “Ben Kurtzman” in his Baltimore-based coming of age feature Liberty Heights. In 2000, Foster starred opposite Kirsten Dunst in Get Over It and later opposite Tim Alan and Renee Russo in Disney Picture's Big Trouble. Foster was also part of the ensemble cast in the Emmy nominated HBO original film The Laramie Project. Foster was also featured this year in Joel Schumacher's Phone Booth.
