AnnaSophia Robb (born December 8, 1993 in Denver, Colorado) is an American child actress, currently most famous for her role as Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton's 2005 film adaptation of Roald Dahl's iconic children's story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
AnnaSophia Robb made her first acting appearances in 2004. She was in the television special titled "Samantha: An American Girl Holiday" and appeared in the television series "Drake and Josh," playing Liza in the episode "Number 1 Fan."
In 2005, she had the role of Opal Buloni in the film Because of Winn-Dixie and played the gum-chewing Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
