Ann Morgan Guilbert (born October 16, 1928) is an American actress.
Guilbert was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Cornelia and Gerald Guilbert. She attended the Solomon Juneau High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated in 1946 with astronaut James Lovell.
She is best known for her television roles as Millie Helper on The Dick Van Dyke Show in the 1960s and Yetta Rosenberg (Fran Drescher's doddering grandmother) on The Nanny in the 1990s. At one point in the latter she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror (thinking it was a door) and said, "There's Millie!".
Guilbert began her entertainment career as a featured performer and singer in the Billy Barnes Revues of the 1950s and 1960s.
Following the Dick Van Dyke Show, she went on to appear in many television shows as minor characters, including multiple guest spots playing different characters on The Andy Griffith Show (just like the Van Dyke show, also produced by Desilu Studios), Emergency! and Picket Fences, as well as two appearances as the character Evelyn in the 3rd and 7th seasons of Seinfeld. Most recently, she appeared in the 2007 season premiere of Law & Order SVU.
She has appeared in the films A Guide for the Married Man, Viva Max!, and Grumpier Old Men (as the mother of Sophia Loren).
