Angela Visser (b. October 18, 1966 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel), is the first woman from the Netherlands to win the Miss Universe Pageant in 1989. A few months before she competed at Miss World where she did not place.
In the 1989 pageant, Visser swept all three semi-finals competitions and it was obvious she was the virtually unanimous choice of the judges. Placing second after her was Louise Drevenstam of Sweden, with delegates from the USA, Poland and Mexico following. Rounding up the top ten were the delegates from Jamaica, Germany, Venezuela, Chile and Finland.
