Amanda Overmyer was a finalist of the famous program, American Idol 7 that brought her to the limelight.
Growing up in Camden, Indiana, she went to Community High School, in Delphi, Indiana. She has grabbed a degree in Nursing from Ivy Tech Community College . Not only that she serves as a health-care specialist and dealt with respiratory issues . A bachelor’s degree in business management adds more glory to her intellectual pursuit.
Her singing career is illustrious too . Once she was a lead singer for the band namely Steeleto . Interestingly the judges of the "American Idol" judges have frequently compared her voice to that of Janis Joplin. Amanda loves to spend her leisure time by taking a joy ride of her motorcycle. Overmyer was ruled out on March nineteenth episode of American Idol 7 thus procuring 11th place.
