Following an intensive singing program in Arizona at Bel Canto Studios, she realized her true calling and made the move to Los Angeles. Born in New Mexico but raised in Chandler, Arizona. After years of professional dancing, she focused her attention on the art of acting. With the support of her family, she moved to New York City, where she was accepted into the prestigious Circle in the Square theatre school. She was scheduled to appear in The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005), but was unable to film her scenes due to scheduling conflicts after joining "All My Children" (1970). Proposed to in real life by her on scene & off scene love, Justin Bruening, who plays Jamie Martin on "All My Children" (1970).

exa Havins joined the cast of "All My Children" in the role of Babe Chandler in October, 2003. Upon her arrival in Pine Valley, Babe has proven to be less than the faithful wife, having slept with her husband's brother on her first night in town. Since then, Babe's deception has only escalated as she tries to cover her lies and the true paternity of her unborn child. Miss Havin's television credits include "Reno 911," "Secret Lives," and "On and Off." In film, she has had leading roles in "First Kiss," "Joshua," "Desert Fox," "Angie" and many more. Having relocated from California, Miss Havins is adjusting well to life and her new home in New York City.
