Donshik's first two years were spent in Newton, Mass., and then his family finally settled in Connecticut where he attended Norfeldt Elementary School, Kingswood Oxford Middle School and Loomis Chaffee High School.
Donshik then moved to Pittsburgh, Pa., to attended Carnegie Mellon University to study cognitive neuropsychology. After two years, he transferred into the prestigious School of Drama and ultimately graduated with a B.F.A. in Acting and a minor in Psychology.
Upon graduation, Donshik moved to Los Angeles, where he currently resides. When not acting, Donshik works at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, an acting school in Los Angeles created by renowned theatre and film director Milton Katselas. Donshik began studying there in 1998 and continues to do so while also working as the senior interviewer.
As an actor, Donshik's career has led him to work with directors Milton Katselas, Forest Whitaker, Charles Haid, Dwight Little, Gene Reynolds and actors Katie Holmes, Michael Keaton, Skeet Ulrich, Kiefer Sutherland, Howard Storm, Ron Livingston and Joseph Ruskin.
Donshik also continues to forge careers as a graphic designer, artist and musician.
