Davis earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2005 after hitting a team-best .377 in league action ... ranked third on the Gators with a .306 average and was second behind Matt LaPorta (79) with 63 RBI ... picked up 24 stolen bases in 30 attempts ... accomplished the unique feat of homering twice this season from both sides of the plate, versus Tennessee (April 30) and Mercer (March 1) ... belted three grand slams ... Enjoyed a career day in 18-9 win over Tennessee on April 30 when he set career highs with a school-record 10 RBI, stroking four hits and scoring four runs ... Belted two homers, a three-run shot in the fourth and a grand slam in the eighth ... also had a career high 10-game hitting streak ... in 2004, was named a Freshman All-American by Louisville Slugger and was selected to the SEC All-Freshman team by the league's coaches and SEBaseball.com ...
